I wrote this poem 9 years ago. At that time I was beginning my own journey of personal awakening—venturing inward, expanding my ideas around who I was and what this life is all about.
I almost immediately dismissed this poem as uninspired, unoriginal, “not real writing.” It remained tucked away in my notes all these years. I came across it the other day and thought, “I actually like this short little poem. Maybe I should share it.”
And so here it is, being shared. It seems fitting that it is emerging after 9 years, in numerology that is the ending of a cycle…

Have you ever created something that felt too small or insignificant to share?
My writing is free, but if you find value in it, you can leave a small, one-time donation here to support my work. Many thanks!
